Advanced Manufacturing at Sikorsky Aircraft
Guest Speaker Ryan Patry Lockheed Martin Fellow, Manufacturing Engineering Lead Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company
BIO: Ryan Patry is currently a Lockheed Martin Fellow for Manufacturing Engineering. In his previous role he was the Manufacturing Engineering Lead for Future Vertical Lift activities at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company. He began his career in 2001 as an NC Programmer, focusing on titanium & magnesium machined parts. After ten years of assorted roles within Manufacturing Engineering, he took a two year rotation in Design Engineering. He returned to Manufacturing Engineering and gained experience in program management and earned value, leading interdisciplinary teams through the design, producibility, manufacture, and aftermarket support phases. Other leadership assignments focused on implementation of new manufacturing technologies at Sikorsky.
Ryan received his undergraduate degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, holds MBA and M.S. degrees from Quinnipiac University, and a M.S. in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
